Isabelle graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Université de Montréal in 2008. She has enhanced her training with a certificate in Laboratory Animal Medicine from the University of Guelph and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Organizational Management at UQAC. In January 2019, Isabelle joined Valacta’s R&D team, after working in a mixed veterinary clinic and at the research center of the CHU de Québec – Université Laval.
She is very involved in the Association des Médecins Vétérinaires Praticiens du Québec and has been a lecturer and a member of the steering group of the Quebec Animal Health and Welfare Strategy. During her years in practice, she has acquired a solid experience in biosecurity, being involved in the Salmonella dublin file and now sits on proAction’s biosecurity and health technical committees as an expert. Her work supporting the team of milk quality advisors has allowed her to develop expertise in milk quality and safety.
