Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC)

Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) invests $2 million annually in research to stimulate productivity, sustainability and profitability on farms and to improve knowledge on the health benefits of milk and dairy products.

DFC supports research initiatives that will benefit all Canadian dairy farmers and works in collaboration with its members and other sectorial partners to address farmers’ priorities established in the National Dairy Research Strategy.

DFC is proud to fund independent, credible research that is subject to a rigorous scientific peer-review process by external experts. When eligible, DFC aims to finance research through competitive, public scientific programs to obtain matching funding contributions.
