Diane Lequin, agr.
Strategic Advisor
Diane fell in love with dairy production as a child, growing up on her family’s dairy farm. She graduated in agronomy from McGill University’s Macdonald Campus in 1988 but as an avid learner, her passions led her to explore different fields: she pursued studies in translation, taught dairy production at the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu CEGEP, judged the annual contest of l’Ordre du mérite agricole, participated in an agricultural exchange program with New Zealand, etc.
With a richly diversified background and a rigorous educational approach, she joined Valacta (now Lactanet) in 2004 where she continues to share her knowledge with “her” Eastern Townships and Centre-du-Québec dairy producers, with pleasure and passion. She also contributed to the development and to the success of the 2019 When the rumen works, everything works! training course.
