Mélissa’s involvement with dairy cattle traceability initiatives began in 2010, when she became the national lead for Dairy Farmers of Canada (DFC) traceability activities, which included assisting DFC directors at various National Traceability Committees and in the development of the Livestock Traceability module of proAction. Since 2008, Mélissa has also contributed to numerous provincial, national and international livestock identification and traceability projects with Agri-Traçabilité Québec (now Attestra).
Mélissa has over 20 years of experience in managing projects in the agricultural, environmental and sustainability fields. She holds a Master’s degree in Project Management and a Bachelor degree in Agricultural and Environmental Science from McGill University.
