Working In Our Labs
In our laboratories, you will help dairy farmers improve their dairy production by testing milk samples using state-of-the-art equipment and technology. You will be at the heart of our work alongside a multidisciplinary team.
More than three million samples are tested each year in our dairy laboratories across Canada. We develop new lab services, which are audited by the Standards Council of Canada according to the ISO/IEC 17025 international norm (see the scope for the list of accredited tests).
We perform tests on raw milk and dairy products. We also analyze a herd’s drinking water and its forages by an accredited external laboratory. We perform over 25 different types of chemical and microbiological analyses.
Jobs in our labs include: microbiologists, chemists, laboratory technicians and supervisors.
